Claire Serenah Leskin
Claire Serenah Leskin, born in Allentown Pennsylvania, May 28, 2004, is a multi-media
illustration artist based in Orefield Pennsylvania. Leskin is currently attending Kutztown
University majoring in fine arts with a concentration in illustration. She has studied under world
renowned artists Sean Delonas, known for his nationally published cartoons, and Scott Hanna,
an internationally famous Marvel Comics artist specializing in illustration and inking as well as
various mediums such as watercolor and acrylic. Leskin primarily focuses on the art of drawing
in conjunction other mediums such as watercolor, India ink, micron pens, and at times with 3d
elements such as clay, paper products, wood, and wire to understand structure and give
perspective for her two-dimensional illustration work and hand-made specialty costume items.Leskin has had many of her artworks featured in several exhibitions in the Lehigh
Valley, including the Senior exhibit at Parkland High School, the Baum School of Art and at
Kutztown University’s Sharadin gallery, illustrating her dedication and artistic style within her
work, featuring original creative stories accusable to the public eye. During her art journey, she
has won several awards for her illustrations, including the “Congressional Art Award” received
from the 15th congressional district in Pennsylvania and the Scholastic Art Awards during
middle and high school.Leskin’s mission is to continue her dedication to creating multiple stories within her
artwork for the viewer, with each character being visual representation of the world they live in, instead of writing the story the viewer interprets with the goal of creating a client base that
appreciates the aesthetic and content of the work, to be used in various media including book
publications, animated media and original individual works.
